ABA ADDS PENSACOLA ENERGY

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced it has added the Pensacola Energy to its record-setting number of expansion teams for the upcoming season. "We are very excited about having the father/son team as owners of the Energy," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. "Two good men in a great city that will compete in both our Florida and Gulf Coast Divisions."
Curtis Beasley is a retired Fire Lieutenant in the Pensacola Fire Department. "Basketball has been a part of my life for about 45 yhears, coaching, developing and now owning," added Beasley. "So this is certainly very exciting for my son and me."
Terrance is currently a professional basketball player overseas and has played as a high school star, Division 1 at Tulane University, D2 for the University of West Florida. "Basketball has been as big part of my life, and this is a great opportunity to extend that," Terrance commented. For more information, email either
