ABA ANNOUNCES PRE-SEASON POWER RANKINGS

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today released its Pre-Season Power Rankings for the upcoming season. "The Power Rankings were selected by the ABA Executive Committee and the Division Chairman," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman, "and it was the closest vote ever with only one point separating the two leaders. The two-time ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants edged out last season's runner-up team, the Miami Midnite. Rounding out the top three is the South Florida GOLD. For the first time ever, the three highest ranked teams are in the same division, the Florida Division."

Also receiving votes were the Texarkana Panthers, Dallas Impact, Philadelphia Spirit, Calgary Crush,

Chicago Fury, Southwest Warriors, Clarkston Poets, Atlanta Storm, South Coast Fire, Daytona Beach Sharks, South Bend Monarchs, Garland Hoyas, Texas Cardinals, Louisiana Cajun All Stars, Tulsa Twisters, Texas Red Wolves, Metroplex Lightning and Texas Skyriders.
