DAYTONA BEACH SHARKS ADDED TO ABA EXPANSION
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that the Daytona Beach Sharks have been added to its expansion teams for the upcoming season. "I am extremely excited about the transition from player to owner and the Sharks will set the standard in the ABA, not only this year but in years to come," added Lumpkin.'
The Daytona Beach Sharks have named James Easton as Head Coach for their inaugural season. Easton is a native of South Bend IN and attended Mississippi Valley State University. He also served 4 years in the US Air Force and has coached and officiated at the high school level for over 20 years (this will be his first professional coaching job). He brings a wealth of knowledge and a sincere enthusiasm for the game.
