ABA ADDS MEMPHIS DONS TO TEAM ROSTER

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org) today announced that it has added the Memphis Dons to its roster of teams set to begin play in November. "The team will be owned by Cheveyo Langundo, the owner of the Mid-South Echoes, which also is beginning its first season of play in the ABA," stated Joe Newman, ABA Co-founder. Chevy has been doing some great things with the Echoes and quickly jumped at the opportunity for a second team when the market became available. We're very excited about it."

"The response from players in Tennessee and surrounding areas has been tremendous," stated Langundo. "We certainly had enough players to field two strong teams. And having Winston Banks with us, who has been a part of the ABA for many years, has certainly been a great help to us on and off the court. We think the Dons will be very competitive."
