METROPLEX LIGHTNING BECOMES FULL ABA TEAM

Indianapolis,IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that the Dallas, TX-based Metroplex Lightning will become a full ABA team this season following three years as a travel team. "Torrence Moody and his team has competed in the ABA and has gained the respect of all of the teams it has played," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. "Having them as a full team is great."

Torrence previously playhed for Fukouka Rizing in Japan. "I am just excited that we now finally get to compete for the ABA Championship," added Moody. "I have had a list of guys play for our organization and move on to Europe and Asia. This year will prove to be promising for the Lightning."
