BUCKEYE SHOW ADDED TO ABA EXPANSION TEAMS

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org

today announced that the Buckeye Show located in Columbus OH has been added to its growing list of expansion teams. The team will begin play in November. "We have long thought that Columbus would be a great ABA city, stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. "And we've been waiting for just the right owner. We've found her in Cassandra Powell, a very sharp young woman with a great understanding of business, sports and community involvement."

Cassandra Powell is owner and operator of Style Studio Hair Salon LLC. Cassandra's role includes inventory, marketing and advertising and travels frequently in pursuit of bettering herself, her skills and her craft by going to trade shows, beauty expos, classes and networking events. She is a published hair stylist and has been featured for the last 2 years in "Who's Who in Black Columbus."

She is also the founder of "Ladies with Purpose," a mentor group for girls ages 12-18 and volunteers at her childrens' school working in the cafeteria and at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. She received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management as well as her BA in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship and Business

Information Systems from Devry University. "I see this as a great challenge," added Ms. Powell. "Our family (2 girls, 2 boys) and I love sports; we can make the Buckeye Show a successful business and an integral part of our community. We're exciting and looking forward to a great season."
