Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that the Garland Hoyas (suburb of Dallas TX) have been added to the growing list of teams set to begin play in November. "This is a really good addition to the league," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. "Paul Parker currently serves in the U.S. Army and is so deeply involved with great community projects; just the type of wonderful team ownership that we seek. He will do well."

Mr. Parker is owner/President of Basketball Operations. His organization was founded in 2012 and initially served as a gateway for basketball players in the community to pursue their careers in professional basketball. The Garland Hoyas competed in Pro-Am tournaments in the Dallas area. During the past three years, Mr. Parker and his staff has helped to feed the homeless during the Thanksgiving holiday season, provided gifts for children from low income families, and volunteered on numerous occasions with the US Army. He has also partnered with the Unfair Advantage Training Academy to provide professional basketball skill training and strength and conditioning programs to high school seniors and pro basketball players.

"I have been truly blessed to be in a unique position to help people, together with my staff, our players, their families, and volunteers, we will display and cultivate the winning attitude, while maintaining a professional and discipline work ethic," added Parker. "As a staff we will do our best to make sure that each player reaches his full potential, develop his talents and pursue his dream of playing at the highest level of professional basketball.
