SCHERTZ KINGS ADDED TO ABA EXPANSION TEAMS

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced the the Schertz Kings have been added to the growing list of teams set to begin play in November. "Our Southwest Division is really growing," stated ABA Co-Founder Joe Newman. "We are just thrilled to have William Manning and the Kings as part of the league. A great organization, very good solid community-minded people. They are going to do well."
Mr. Manning is owner/President of Basketball Operations. The organization was founded in the San Antonio area in 2013 as a way to get local athletes more exposure and better opportunities to further their careers. In 2014, the Kings partnered with Winning Ways International to host the first Open Overseas Combine in Texas which led to multiple local players being scouted and recruited internationally.
Mr. Manning and his players and staff have help build homes for Habitat for Humanity, assisted young students with maintaining grades and excelling in the classroom, given scholarships to student-athletes, and partnered with East Side Promise Neighborhood and the Priest Holmes Foundation to provide fitness and education to impovrished communities in the San Antonio area.,'
