ABA ADDS BOSTON DEFENDERS

Indianapolis IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that it will add the Boston Defenders to its growing list of expansion teams for the upcoming season. "Boston is a great basketball city and we believe that the fans there, who are used to terrific basketball at the college and professional level, will love the fast-paced, exciting ABA game," stated ABA Co-Founder Joe Newman." "And in William Terrell we've found an excellent owner who will help maximize the potential of the team."
Mr. Terrell attended Johnson & Wales University where he studied Sports, Event and Entertainment Management with a focus on professional sports administration. While at JWU he worked with the men's basketball program. He is currently CFO of Dallas TX-based Mack Sports Group. "I'm very excited about doing this," added Terrell. "The new ABA team in Providence did a great job last season and I'm hoping we can establish a terrific rivalry."
