TEXAS SKYRIDERS ADDED TO ABA

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that the Texas Skyriders located in Waco, TX will begin play in November. "The growth in Texas has been remarkable," stated Monica Belanger, ABA Director of Expansion. "We have such great teams there and this organization is really exceptional in so many ways; a great addition to the league."

The team will be owned by the Texas Skyriders Basketball Association, Inc., with Vivian L. Palmer as the Owner/CEO. Mrs. Palmer has been in the medical field for over 20 years, served our country in the military for seven years, and has diverse experience in marketing and management with a strong basketball background.

Co-owner of the team is EVP/Head Coach Joe Thomas, who has been in the Financial Services industry for over 20 years and has coached basketball at all levels during that period. "We are very excited about this opportunity to be a part of the ABA," added Thomas, "and our goal is to be one of the premier teams in the league and to serve the community of Waco."
