ABA EXECUTIVE New VP of Team Recruitment

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today named Monica Belanger as the Vice President of Team Recruitment. "The ABA has grown to become the largest professional sports league in the US and the most diversified also," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman. "Interest in owning a team has increased dramatically and we felt the timing was right to have someone overseeing expansion. Monica Belanger is the perfect person to do that. There are so many great markets still available and our objective will be to "fill the holes," make travel easier and have better rivalries."

Ms. Belanger has 10 years experience running adult basketball teams, leagues, tournaments and events in the Detroit metropolitan area. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her Masters Degree fromn the University of Michigan and spent four years of college student recruiting (diversity candidates for 11 top MBA schools and currently owns Team NetWork, a team in the ABA.
