TOM CHICHESTER NAMED ABA VICE PRESIDENT

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.americanbasketballassociation.org today announced that Tom Chichester has been named Vice President of Operations and Officials for the league. "Tom has been with the ABA since day one," stated ABA co-founder Joe Newman, "and has been serving as Director of Officials. During that period, he has built an organization of over 200 officials nationwide and has overseen the entire officials' program. As VP, his duties and responsibilities will expand to include schedules, venues, game rules, league standards, player rosters, violations/dispute, Code of Conduct and overall gameday operations."
